Cattaneo Bros

Cattaneo Bros is a family-owned jerky maker in San Luis Obispo that has been making its products since 1947. The lineup centers on beef jerky, including a 100% grassfed range, a classic cut marinated in apple cider vinegar and fresh spices, and an extra-thin cut. They also make turkey jerky, naturally smoked beef sticks, and old-world style handmade sausages from lean pork butts.

All the jerky is dried in the company's brick ovens. The factory and main store is on Caudill Street, and a second shop, The Mercantile, is on Chorro Street downtown. The business also runs a monthly jerky club with delivery to your door, and it sells gift packs and local seasonings.
