Body + Balance Center

Body + Balance Center is a physical therapy practice in San Luis Obispo that works with athletes, older adults and people somewhere in between. Its licensed physical therapists build individual treatment plans around each patient's injury and daily routine, with an emphasis on home exercise programs patients can keep up after discharge. The center also houses two separate massage therapy practices.

Patients are usually scheduled with the same therapist for each visit, and referring physicians receive an initial evaluation and regular progress notes. The space has large windows and an open layout, with an Alter G anti-gravity treadmill and a range of weights and resistance equipment. Visits start with an evaluation, and the office is at 1248 Monterey Street on weekdays.
