Natural Resources

Natural Resources is a nonprofit in San Francisco that serves expectant and new parents with a mix of classes, a retail shop, and community support. Its classes cover childbirth prep, car seat safety, babyproofing a relationship, and postpartum topics, with some offered free. The shop carries clothing, nursing and feeding supplies, sleep and nursery items, carriers, and books for pregnancy, birth, and babies.

Many insurance plans reimburse classes, rentals, and some products, though the organization advises checking the specific policy first. Doula training and certification are also offered, and the shop has rentals for items such as TENS units. The store is at 1051 Valencia Street in San Francisco, with parking at the Mission-Bartlett Garage on 21st Street.
