Gravel & Gold sells women's clothing, including jackets, skirts, pants, sweatshirts, hoodies, cardigans and denim, made from cotton in a clean, work-ready style. Its catalog also covers accessories, home goods like candles and incense, books and paper goods, and gift certificates. Many pieces are cut and sewn in San Francisco by local workers, with fabrics woven in Japan or knit in Los Angeles.

The shop is at 3266 21st St in San Francisco's Mission District area, and it ships domestic orders with free shipping on orders over $250 and a flat $10 rate below that. Returns, exchanges and store credit are available with some exceptions, and gift cards are offered.
