Prima Materia Art Institute

Prima Materia Art Institute teaches drawing and painting through live online classes, held six days a week. Students can start with an introductory drawing class, join a group course in acrylics, pastels, watercolors or oils, or take individual classes at their own pace. The institute also runs a College Portfolio Program that helps students build an art portfolio for college applications, along with private classes, private consulting and art career mentorship.

The school is run by founder Olya Losina and co-founder William Beatty, with instructor Nikusha Beatty among the teachers. Live sessions run Monday through Saturday, and memberships offer discounts on classes and courses. Beginners are welcome, and the school offers a free consultation by phone to help choose a starting point.
