Art FORM

Art FORM is a nonprofit that teaches art through creative reuse, turning donated and surplus materials into projects for students and community members. Most of its programming goes to Mid-City San Diego elementary schools free of charge, along with several free community events each year. It also offers adult workshops, summer workshops, seasonal camps and public events.

The Creative Reuse Store sells a changing inventory of supplies such as fabrics, paper and yarn to teachers, students, artists and the community. Donations are accepted by appointment only, and donation drop-offs should be cleared first by emailing photos and descriptions. The store is open Wednesday through Sunday, and it may close when the heat tops 85 degrees. The studio sits on Adams Avenue in San Diego's Mid-City area.
