Mu Restaurant

Mu Restaurant serves modern Thai and Asian fusion dishes in downtown Redlands, drawing on Thai flavors and French technique. Known dishes include the pan-seared ahi starter, Kapow fried rice, green and massaman curries, pad Thai, and a sticky rice and mango dessert. Owner Daranee Muongpruan has run the restaurant since it opened in 2006, and she makes early-morning trips to the Los Angeles fish market to pick the day's seafood for the evening menu.

The restaurant serves lunch and dinner, with takeout and delivery available and online ordering through its site. There is a martini bar and lounge, happy hour Tuesday through Friday from 4:30 to 7 PM, and an outdoor patio on State Street. Mu is at 309 W State St in downtown Redlands, and it is closed Sunday and Monday.
