Thomas C. Slater Compassion Center

Thomas C. Slater Compassion Center is a licensed cannabis dispensary on Corliss Street that serves registered medical patients and adult customers over 21. The shop carries flower, prerolls, vapes, edibles and concentrates, plus topicals and tinctures from a range of brands. It opened in April 2013 as the first medical cannabis dispensary in Rhode Island and is named for the late state representative who fought for the state's medical marijuana law.

Orders can be placed on the online menu for in-store pickup, drive-thru pickup or delivery, with a $60 minimum for delivery. New medical patients must come inside to register before buying and receive 20% off their first purchase. Parking is in a fenced lot, medical and recreational customers have separate areas, and a registered patient's caregiver or authorized purchaser can buy on their behalf. Online ordering closes an hour before the store does.
