The Hill Arts

The Hill Arts is a nonprofit performance venue on Munjoy Hill in Portland, Maine, known for theater, music, comedy and community programs. It has run its Parish Hall Theater since 2001 and hosts more than twenty creative partners, including local theater companies and sketch comedy groups.

The venue is building a 400-seat performance and community center on the site of the former St. Lawrence Church, with space planned for a kids' creative center and a nonprofit incubator for up-and-coming creative groups. Until that opens, shows take place at the Parish Hall at 76 Congress Street, and the upcoming calendar lists a mix of touring acts, local productions and folk and roots music.
