The David Banks Team

The David Banks Team is a real estate brokerage in Portland, Maine, focused on luxury homes and waterfront estates across Greater Portland and Southern Maine. Its listings have included large coastal properties on Cousins Island, Sebago Lake and Cumberland Foreside, and the team also works with buyers and sellers across the wider region. The team grew out of RE/MAX By The Bay, which David Banks opened in 1994, and in 2024 Teddy Piper became an owner alongside David and Michael Banks.

The team lists homes it represents exclusively as well as some properties from other agencies, and it describes its approach as client-focused, with attention to marketing and negotiation. The office is at 281 Veranda St in Portland, and the phone line is open weekdays during business hours, so calls are the most direct way to start a conversation about buying or selling.
