Salt Yard Cafe + Bar is an industrial-chic restaurant on the working waterfront in downtown Portland, serving a menu that changes through the day. Mornings bring hand-crafted lattes, house-made pastries, and breakfast dishes like corned beef hash and eggs Benedict, while lunch brings salads, a smash burger, and a lobster roll. In the evening the focus shifts to craft cocktails, starters, and dinner entrees such as roasted salmon and pan roasted bavette steak.

The room seats up to 250 for events, and the smaller Swasey dining room suits gatherings of up to 15. Private events are booked by email or through the sales team by phone. The restaurant hosts weekly entertainment, and the bar menu runs in the afternoons. Parties of six or more are charged a 20% gratuity.
