Italian Heritage Center

Italian Heritage Center is a cultural and community hub in Portland that also hosts banquets, weddings, conferences, trade shows and celebrations of life. Its largest room, the Columbus Room, is a 6,400 square foot ballroom with a 900 square foot dance floor and a full-service bar. The Da Vinci Room holds 135 guests and has a fireplace and balcony seating, while the James DiBiase Library suits smaller meetings and bridal parties.

The organization began in 1953 as the Italian American Community Center and still runs a membership program and a cultural committee that promotes Italian heritage. Its public events include a craft fair with an Italian bake sale and a Halloween dance. Standard hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM, but hours change around scheduled events, so call ahead to check availability. The center is on Westland Avenue in Portland.
