Doreen Peasley

Doreen Peasley is a licensed marriage and family therapist with 25 years in practice, working with individuals, couples and families. She is licensed in both Maine and California, and spent more than twelve years supporting military service members and their families at bases in the United States, Europe and Asia. Common concerns she works on include stress, anxiety, relationships, divorce, grief, sleep and pregnancy or postpartum issues, and she works with adults from age 18 into their later years.

Sessions are offered by video across Maine, and her practice is based in Portland at a Thriveworks counseling office. She takes a creative approach that blends relational, strength-based, solution-focused, mindfulness-based and art methods, and she is a certified Prepare Enrich and SoulCollage facilitator. She accepts a long list of insurance plans, and self-pay sessions are available for those without coverage. Appointments can be booked online.
