Daija's Curl Bar

Daija's Curl Bar is a hair studio focused on curly hair care, offering cuts, deep cleansing, styling and color for natural curls. Services range from a new-client Curl Bar Experience that includes a consultation and custom products to shorter maintenance visits, with hand-painted highlights, a curly balayage called Curlyage, and steam-hood treatments among the specialties.

New clients book through an application on the website, while existing clients who have been in within 6 to 9 months book a shorter refresher or cut. Gift cards are available online. The studio is at 142 High Street in Portland, Maine, and the owner, Daija, trained at cosmetology school and says the space is open to all curl types.
