Bang Cut & Color

Bang Cut & Color has been styling hair for men and women in Portland's Arts District since 2002. The salon is known for its cuts and color work in an eclectic setting, with midcentury decor and a gallery of roadside finds on the walls.

Walk-ins are welcome when a chair is open, but calling ahead to book is a good idea. The salon recently moved a few doors down Congress Street, and its front windows face the street, so people-watching is part of the visit. Parking is metered on the street, with garages on Spring Street and at the Eastland Hotel nearby. It is open Tuesday through Saturday, closing early on Saturday.
