Suite Society

Suite Society rents fully furnished salon suites to beauty professionals, including hair stylists, estheticians and waxing specialists who want their own space without the costs of owning a salon. The company runs locations in Grand Rapids and Portage, and its suites come in single and double sizes that tenants can customize.

Suites are leased rather than sold, so a stylist can start without buying equipment or signing for a large upfront investment. Members also get access to online booking, marketing help through the company's salon directory, and ongoing professional education. The Portage location is at 212 W. Milham Avenue, and the business offers 24/7 access and security cameras.
