Cat and Exotic Care

Cat and Exotic Care is a veterinary hospital on the Central Coast that focuses on cats, birds, reptiles and small mammals. It was founded in 2004 as a sanctuary for cats and smaller, more timid exotic pets, and the practice offers dentistry, surgery, laser therapy, clinical laboratory work, advanced diagnostics and intensive care.

Because the practice sees a limited range of species, it can devote more time and resources to each animal. Boarding is available in a setting without dogs, which many cats and exotic pets find less stressful. The clinic is in the Pismo Coast Plaza at 565 Five Cities Drive in Pismo Beach, and it is open on weekdays. After-hours and weekend emergencies are referred to other clinics.
