MO's Smokehouse BBQ slow-smokes its meats on premises, with pork ribs served as full slabs alongside corn muffin, beans and your choice of coleslaw or potato salad. The restaurant grew out of a cross-country barbecue road trip, and its house sauces, Original, Hot, Sweet Carolina and Philthy Phil's, are sold by the bottle, by the case and in gift packs. The sauces are made to go with pork, beef and chicken.

There are locations in Pismo Beach, San Luis Obispo and Chico. The Pismo Beach location offers a to-go counter, delivery and catering. Sauce orders are placed by email at sales@mosbbq.com while the online store moves to a new platform. Shipping covers the contiguous 48 states, Alaska and Hawaii, and damaged items are replaced.
