Ada's Fish House in Pismo Beach

Ada's Fish House is a family-owned seafood restaurant serving classic coastal dishes with an East Coast influence. The menu centers on crab cakes and lobster rolls, along with Pacific Coast halibut, salmon and local rockfish, and the kitchen sources its seafood fresh each day. Chef and owner Douglas MacMillan keeps adding new dishes to the menu, with a focus on simple, fresh preparations.

The room is relaxed, and there is a mostly local wine list along with a full bar. Takeout is available, including quarts of clam chowder, and gift cards are sold. Chowder, oysters and fish tacos are among the other menu staples. The restaurant is at 558 Price Street in Pismo Beach.
