Calomiris Counseling

Calomiris Counseling is a woman-owned therapy practice led by Wendy Calomiris, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. The practice focuses on trauma, including people managing a medical diagnosis, PTSD, sexual assault, and domestic violence. Wendy uses EMDR, trauma-informed cognitive behavioral therapy, and LENS neurofeedback, and she also writes immigration psychological evaluations for asylum, U-visa, and hardship waiver cases.

Sessions are offered in person in Petaluma and online through HIPAA-compliant platforms. Family support meetings help relatives plan around a new diagnosis, and the practice can coordinate treatment with a client's doctors and other providers, with consent. A limited number of sliding scale slots are available for students. Spanish is spoken at the practice, and evaluations use professional medical interpreters when needed.
