Sherman's Deli & Bakery

Sherman's Deli & Bakery is a New York-style deli in Palm Springs that has served breakfast, lunch and dinner since 1963. It is known for its Famous Sandwich Board, with more than 40 sandwiches such as hot corned beef on rye, and for fresh-baked cinnamon bread French toast. Dinner plates include rotisserie chicken, brisket, BBQ baby back ribs and a Southern-style fried chicken special.

The restaurant is still run by Sam Harris and his sister Janet, the children of founder Sherman Harris. Sherman's has a second location in Palm Desert. Orders can be placed online, and the BBQ sauce is sold by the bottle. Early dinners are priced lower from 4pm to 6pm, and until 7pm from July through October.
