In Movement Dance

In Movement Dance is a community movement and enrichment center offering dance, fitness and wellness classes for children, teens, adults and active older adults. The studio organizes its training around technique, artistry, musicality and conditioning, and it also places weight on discipline, leadership and self-care. Students can work toward performance, pre-professional training or simply a healthier relationship with movement.

Classes are arranged in age groups, with a mini movers program for children 11 and under, teen classes for ages 12 and up, and adult classes for ages 18 and up. The studio runs scholarships and hosts annual shows, and it presents itself as a nonprofit-supported program. The studio is at 42210 Cook St in Palm Desert, and families can register and pay tuition through its student portal.
