W. KIM TAEKWONDO

W. Kim Taekwondo is a martial arts school teaching Taekwondo to children, teens, families and adults. The kids program, which includes a Tiny Tigers class for ages 3 to 5, focuses on self-discipline, respect, focus and anti-bullying skills, while the adult classes build strength, flexibility, coordination and cardiovascular fitness. The school also emphasizes self-defense and personal safety awareness alongside the kicks and punches.

New students can start with a free trial class. Classes meet six days a week, and the school offers private lessons, birthday parties and summer camps for members and non-members. Families often train together, and the school's Palatine location serves students from the surrounding area.
