Plum Chimney Care

Plum Chimney Care is a locally owned chimney company that cleans, inspects, and repairs chimneys and fireplaces. Sweeping is the core of the work, with creosote and soot removal, smoke chamber cleaning, and checks for blockages or animal nests. Repairs cover tuckpointing, flue relining, crown work, and flashing, and the crew also installs chimney caps and crowns, fireplaces, and inserts.

Free estimates are offered, and the company says its pricing is upfront with no hidden fees. Emergency calls are taken around the clock, and inspections include camera scans and a written report with photos. The business is on Plum Grove Road in Palatine, Illinois, and serves the surrounding northwest suburbs, so it's worth calling ahead to confirm coverage in a specific town.
