Atomic Express Car Wash

Atomic Express Car Wash is a express exterior car wash that runs a conveyor tunnel with soft closed-cell foam brushes and wraps. The wash offers a Turbo Prep 360 pre-soak, a spot-free rinse with reverse osmosis water, and ceramic and graphene coatings, and the company sells monthly memberships and gift cards. Drivers stay in the car while an attendant guides them onto the belt, and the whole wash takes under five minutes.

The business uses a water reclamation system and says it uses about 15 gallons per express wash, and it accepts cars with alloy wheels, convertibles and most pickups, though a few vehicle types are turned away. Touchless washing is available if you ask the attendant at the pay station, and free vacuums are provided after the tunnel. The Palatine location is at 2239 N Rand Rd, and it is open daily from 8 am to 8 pm.
