BJJ Olympia

BJJ Olympia teaches Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, kickboxing and MMA, with women's self defense, kids' classes and private lessons also on the schedule. The school focuses on technique and intensity, and it is built around the idea that training is for self defense, self improvement and sport, with competition encouraged but not pushed at the expense of teammates.

Owner and head instructor Robert Owens is a black belt with over 30 years of experience, originally trained under the Carlson Gracie School. He also teaches occupational and first responder self defense courses and coaches MMA fighters. The school is at 400 Cooper Point Rd SW in Olympia, and the front desk asks for 24 hours to reply to contact form messages, so calling is the quicker route for urgent questions.
