West Coast World Martial Arts

West Coast World Martial Arts is a martial arts school in Ogden, Utah, that teaches a mixed style built on traditional taekwondo and blended with American boxing, Muay Thai, jujitsu, Filipino escrima and grappling. The school takes students from about age four and runs separate programs for kids, teens and adults. Owner Chris Erickson trained for decades under Ernie Reyes Sr., and the school was established in 2010 with about 50 students.

Classes meet on weekday evenings, with Saturday morning sessions by appointment. Instructors adjust training to each student's pace, and new students can book a free orientation class before committing. The school is on 2nd Street in Ogden and hosts family events, so parents often stay involved as well.
