Gray Loft Gallery

Gray Loft Gallery is an alternative contemporary art space in Oakland's Jingletown neighborhood, known for group exhibitions that bring together working artists. Its current show, Gestures of Willful Abandon, features seven Bay Area women artists working across painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking and installation, with work that explores intention, chance and surrender. The exhibit runs September 26 through November 14, 2026, with opening and closing receptions on Saturdays from 4 to 7 pm.

Admission is free and open to the public. Regular visits are on Saturday afternoons or by appointment, which you can arrange by email. The gallery is on the third floor of a Ford Street building in Jingletown, and it also takes artist submissions sent as jpgs by email. The gallery notes a closure until March 14, so check before you go.
