Economy Lumber Company

Economy Lumber Company is a family-owned lumber yard and building supply company serving the Bay Area's building professionals. The yard stocks framing lumber, engineered lumber such as LVL and I-joists, plywood and OSB, pressure-treated lumber, redwood and cedar, along with siding, decking, and windows and doors from major manufacturers. Its window and door side includes the LaCantina V2 line of folding doors, swing doors and direct glaze windows.

Contractor accounts and will-call orders are handled by phone, text, email or an online form, and orders placed before noon can be picked up the same day. The company's trucks deliver to Bay Area job sites, and it has been in business since 1935. The main yard is on High Street in Oakland, with additional yards in the Bay Area, and the staff speaks Spanish, Vietnamese and Mandarin.
