Azura

Azura is a hair and makeup salon run by founder and lead stylist Naomi, offering cuts, color, lightening such as balayage and highlights, keratin and conditioning treatments, blowouts, updos, and makeup for events and weddings. The salon works from a personal approach, building relationships with clients and tailoring each service to their needs and lifestyle.

Appointments are booked online, and the salon asks for 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel. Arriving 15 minutes late may limit the services that can be done. A free adjustment is offered within 10 days of a service, though refunds are not given. The salon is on Valdez Street in Oakland's Uptown neighborhood.
