The Historic Boxwood Inn

The Historic Boxwood Inn is an 1896 building in the Lee Hall area of Newport News that operates as an all-inclusive event venue, with a ballroom set up for weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate events and parties. Its interior has polished antiques and hardwood floors, and the building was once a private residence that also housed a public post office and general store.

The venue includes a wedding coordinator, wait staff, linens, tableware, tables, chairs and centerpieces, along with full-service catering from an executive chef. Because everything is provided on site, the inn is meant to save couples the cost and effort of renting event equipment separately. The address is 10 Elmhurst St in Newport News.
