Paperbacks Ink

Paperbacks Ink is an independent bookstore selling new and used books, with a focus on supporting local authors. The store runs book clubs, monthly craft nights, game nights and other events, and it has a cafe on site. Book donations are welcome for its community library, though damaged, moldy or outdated textbooks are turned away.

The store holds books for customers for up to a week if you call or email ahead. Staff can check by phone whether a specific title is in stock, since the shop does not keep a full inventory list. Local authors can ask about book signings or consignment through the store's author contact, and the shop has a free loyalty program that earns credit on purchases. It is located at 9716 Warwick Blvd in Newport News.
