Denbigh Animal Hospital

Denbigh Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary practice that offers preventive care, vaccinations, surgery, dentistry, in-house digital X-ray and ultrasound, grooming, puppy and kitten visits, parasite prevention and senior pet care. Its surgeries include routine spays and neuters, soft tissue procedures and select eye surgeries, and it handles oral surgical extractions and periodontal treatment for more advanced dental problems.

The practice is run by Dr. Cary Mackey, a veterinarian and owner who returned to the hospital in 2020 after years of practice in Atlanta. Access to mobile cardiology and internal medicine ultrasound specialists is brought in when a case calls for it, so many concerns can be looked into without a referral. Appointments are booked through the website, and the hospital is on Denbigh Boulevard in Newport News.
