Shield Water Damage Restoration and Repairs

Shield Water Damage Restoration and Repairs handles water emergencies in Upper West Side buildings, including burst pipes, steam riser and radiator leaks, basement floods, sewage backups and appliance leaks. Crews arrive with extraction and drying equipment and start pulling water on the first visit. Once the building is dry, the same crew can handle floors, drywall, kitchens and baths, and waterproofing.

Calls are answered live around the clock, and the company aims to arrive within 60 minutes across Lincoln Square, Manhattan Valley and Morningside Heights. Crews work with building managers and superintendents when a building needs access, and they keep moisture readings and photos that insurance adjusters can use. Shield also serves Brooklyn and Queens.
