Sweet Saint

Sweet Saint makes artisan ice creams, sherbets and sorbets by hand in the French Quarter. The flavors lean toward New Orleans: Creole cream cheese, Louisiana Meyer lemon curd, Chicory and French Truck coffee, and Fleur de VaNola, a vanilla infused with jasmine. Vegan sorbets such as The Marigny, made with cucumber and basil, and The Ponchatoula, made with Louisiana strawberries, are also on the list, along with seasonal flavors that rotate.

It is a family-run shop on St Louis Street, and ice cream is cooked and made in small batches at the store. Pints are available by phone or in person for family gatherings and special occasions. The shop is open most afternoons and evenings, with Monday closed and later hours on weekends.
