Jamaican classics like jerk chicken and oxtails8227 Oak St, New Orleans, LA
14 Parishes serves Jamaican classics in New Orleans, with jerk chicken, beef patties, oxtails and traditional sides on the menu. Named for the 14 parishes of Jamaica, the business started in 2015 with $10 supper plates before opening its first restaurant in Central City in 2016. Executive Chef Charles Blake, who grew up in Spanish Town, cooks alongside Creative Director Lauren Johnson.
The restaurant now has locations downtown, on Oak Street and in Algiers Point, plus a spot at Pythian Market. The Likkle 14 food truck, launched in 2025, extends the menu around town, and the team also takes catering and meal prep orders. Hours run midday to early evening Monday through Saturday, and Sunday is not listed.
