Cherri Mettler

Cherri Mettler Counseling Services is a child-focused counseling practice led by Licensed Professional Counselor Cherri Mettler, who works with children ages 3 to 12. She is a certified autism spectrum disorder clinical specialist and a certified AutPlay provider, and her work covers autism, ADHD, OCD, behavioral dysregulation and trauma-related symptoms using cognitive behavioral and play-based methods.

Parents and caregivers are part of the process, with practical guidance on behavior management and emotional growth at home and school. Telehealth appointments are available, and the practice accepts insurance from Aetna, Blue Cross and UnitedHealthcare. The office is in New Braunfels.
