Northwest Electrical Industry JATC

Northwest Electrical Industry JATC is a joint apprenticeship and training committee that trains inside wiremen, residential wiremen and electrical pre-apprentices. It also runs continuing education for journeyman electricians and the Veterans Electrical Entry Program, which brings transitioning service members and recent veterans into the trade. Its main training center is in Mount Vernon, with a second training site in East Wenatchee.

Applications for the inside wireman, residential wireman and pre-apprentice programs are currently closed, with a few exceptions listed on the program page, so prospective students should confirm eligibility first. Journeyman CEU classes and test prep courses are open to working electricians. Veterans can enter through VEEP at no cost, and the program can be done while still transitioning out of the military.
