Top Notch Pet Resort

Top Notch Pet Resort provides dog boarding, daycare, grooming and training for dogs and their owners, operating in Modesto and Turlock. The business has been caring for local dogs since 2002, when it opened as a home away from home for pets during family vacations and long workdays. Its training side traces back to Top Notch Dog Training, founded in 1989 by Lisa Moore, a former competition obedience handler.

Daycare, boarding and grooming can be booked online for existing members, and new clients are asked to complete health requirements and registration forms before a first visit. Training is offered through classes, private lessons and seminars, using positive, force-free methods from Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partners. The Modesto location is at 3302 Beckwith Court, and the company also has a Turlock location.
