Auto glass in Modesto

Auto glass shops help you fix or replace the glass in your vehicle, from a small chip in the windshield to a cracked side window or a broken rear window. Many also replace side and rear view mirrors. Some offer home glass work such as residential windows and shower doors, so it can help to ask whether a shop handles both. When you call around in Modesto, ask whether a chip can be repaired instead of replaced, since a repair is often faster and cheaper, and ask whether the glass will be original-brand or a standard aftermarket part. Check that your insurance may cover the cost, and ask the shop to confirm before work starts. If a chip is small, book soon, because debris and temperature changes can make it spread.
