Kathy's House

Kathy's House is a nonprofit hospital guest house that provides lodging and a supportive environment for patients and caregivers traveling to Milwaukee for medical care. It serves guests of all ages who are receiving care at area hospitals, and it describes itself as the only hospital guest house in southeastern Wisconsin.

Guests must first be referred by a healthcare provider, and patient guests must be accompanied by a caregiver. Guests need to live at least 50 miles away. The house sits on the campus of the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center, a short walk from Froedtert Center for Advanced Care, and it offers a shared space to eat and sleep as well as quiet time alone. Donations and volunteer help are welcome.
