Hanover Brass Foundry

Hanover Brass Foundry casts reproduction Civil War and military belt plates and buckles, sand cast in yellow and red brass and hand finished. The foundry works from original plates in museum and private collections, including Confederate, Union, Navy and post-war pieces, and offers more than a thousand designs. Custom buckles are also made to order.

Each piece is cast after the order comes in, so nothing is kept in stock. Orders typically take 7 to 20 days to make and ship by USPS Priority Mail, with a flat domestic shipping rate of $11.00. Questions go by email. The foundry is at 5155 Cold Harbor Road in Mechanicsville, Virginia, and the founder, Gary Williams, does the casting himself.
