Certified Electrical Technology

Certified Electrical Technologies, known as CET, is a full-service electrical contractor serving homeowners, contractors, retail shops, real estate firms and commercial clients. Typical jobs include receptacle repairs, lighting fixture and smoke detector installs, and troubleshooting tripped breakers and panel problems. The company has been in business since 1979.

The firm works across Suburban Maryland, Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C., with offices in both states. Phone estimates are free and same-day service is available, though same-day calls are billed at emergency rates. Small repairs are billed in half-hour increments. Customers often mention that technicians explain what they found and what fixed it, and the company offers a lifetime warranty on labor.
