Stagg Hill Golf Club

Stagg Hill Golf Club operates a scenic 18-hole course that the club describes as suitable for all skill levels. It grew out of a 1930 effort by members of the local American Legion to build a course for Manhattan, which later moved to newer land with more water. Today the club is also a community hub, running men's, women's, ladies evening, and couples leagues, along with open and members-only tournaments and instruction.

Players check in at the clubhouse before play, and groups are limited to five. Soft spikes or tennis shoes are required, tank tops and cut-off shirts are not allowed, and alcohol is prohibited on the property. Tee times can be booked online, and handicap renewals can be done online too. The club also hosts the Manhattan Junior Golf Association, with low-key Thursday tournaments in summer that let parents caddy for their children. The course is in Manhattan, Kansas.
