Combative Sports Center

Combative Sports Center is a martial arts gym in Manhattan, Kansas, offering Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, kickboxing and MMA, along with self-defense classes and personal training. It was started in 2004 by a group of friends who wanted a place to teach jiu-jitsu to the community, and it now draws both beginners and people who want a conditioning workout.

The gym has a number of decorated professional fighters and amateur competitors on its roster, and the instructors include a former UFC fighter and more than 15 black belts in BJJ. Newcomers can start with a one-week free trial. The gym is at 116 South 4th Street in Manhattan.
