Community-based psychiatric treatment for serious mental illness600 Williamson Street, Suites, A and B Madison, WI
The Program of Assertive Community Treatment, known as PACT, is a community-based psychiatric program run through Mendota Mental Health Institute, a Wisconsin Department of Health Services facility. It uses a team approach to provide psychiatric treatment, rehabilitation and support for people with a very serious mental illness, with services built around each client's recovery goals and focused on symptom management and independent living skills.
PACT serves people who live in Dane County, and referrals and admissions are handled through the Dane County Department of Health and Human Services. The program works with clients in their homes, on the job and in social settings rather than only in a clinic. The program is at 600 Williamson Street in Madison.
