Tex Tubb's Taco Palace

Tex Tubb's Taco Palace is an Austin-style taco joint on Madison's east side, known for tacos and burritos with a wide range of fillings, from chicken tinga and pork carnitas to beef brisket, tequila lime shrimp and fried cauliflower. House-made limeade and horchata, margaritas and Mexican beer round out the drink list, and the chili and the chopped cheese crunch wrap are popular picks on the menu.

The restaurant serves dine-in, carryout and catering, and offers a two taco platter lunch special on weekdays. Happy hour runs 2-5 PM every day, with a last hour happy hour from 9-10 PM on Friday and Saturday. The place is casual and family-friendly, and it is at 2009 Atwood Ave on the east side of Madison.
