Steenbock on Orchard

Steenbock's on Orchard is a contemporary American restaurant serving seasonal lunch and dinner menus built on local, regional and organic ingredients, with everything made from scratch in the kitchen. The menu runs from Pub Chips and Smoked Onion Dip and a Nacho Stack to a Blackened Salmon BLT, Smash Burger, Roasted Walleye and Steak Frites, with vegetarian and vegan options marked.

You can walk in or reserve for a quick lunch, a happy hour drink or a dinner out. Happy hour runs 3 to 7 pm Monday through Friday, and trivia is held Wednesday evenings starting at 4:30 pm. The covered patio opens to outdoor seating through a folding glass wall when the weather allows. The restaurant is inside the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery on the UW campus in Madison, and private event rooms are available for meetings, parties and weddings.
