Photo Midwest

Photo Midwest is a membership-based photography organization in Madison that runs a darkroom, digital lab, printing and framing services, classes, interest groups, exhibitions and a regular talks series. Its signature show is the biennial exhibition of work by Midwest photographers, and the next PhotoMidwest Festival is scheduled for fall 2026.

Members get access to the interest groups, member exhibitions, the library, and member rates on classes, scanners, the wet darkroom, wide-format inkjet printers, and matting and framing equipment. Non-members can still take part in events and can donate to support the group. The organization is run largely by volunteers and is located at Rayovac Drive in Madison.
