Midwest Clay Project & Studios

Midwest Clay Project & Studios is a community ceramics studio offering memberships, classes, lessons, open studio time, private studio space and drop-in firing. The studio has worktables, electric wheels, a slab roller, extruders, a glaze spray booth and electric kilns, and it sells stoneware and porcelain clay bodies along with its own cone 6 oxidation glazes. Pottery made by members and staff is sold at twice-yearly sales.

The studio is owned and operated by artist Brian Kluge and is open to adults and youth. Members can use the space on their own schedule, and the studio also hosts parties and field trips. Gift cards are available. The studio is at 78 North Bryan Street in Madison, on the city's east side.
